Half Day Preschool

Kirkwood School District's Early Childhood Center offers a Half Day preschool inclusion program for children ages 3-5 whose parents reside in the Kirkwood School District boundaries.

Half Day sessions are offered 8:30-11:30 am and 12:30-3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday during the KSD school year and follow the Kirkwood School District Calendar for closures and recesses.

Qualified teachers provide a developmentally based program with planned activities in an environment designed for young children.  You can check out our Half Day Classrooms of Butterfly, Duck and Frog classes for more details.

Your child will be eligible for an opening if they are three before August 1st. Most of the 3-4 age level attend morning classes and most of the 4-5 age level attend afternoon classes, but this may change from year-to-year.
