Parents as Teachers
WELCOME TO PARENTS AS TEACHERS!
We are so glad you are here! Babies begin learning before birth. You are your baby's best and first teacher.
By partnering together, we can help you give your baby the best possible start in life.
Parents as Teachers is a free and voluntary program open to all parents and families with children ages prenatal
to Kindergarten entry who live within the Kirkwood School District boundaries.
Our program has four components: Home Visits tailored to your family's specific needs, Annual Screenings,
Connections to Resources, and Group Connections--a mix of fun family/child activities and parent-only
informative developmental topic presentations.
