Meet the Teachers

Ms. Jeannine, Lead Educator

Hello! I started teaching in 2003 and have been at KECC since 2017. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Fontbonne and my Master's in Education from Lindenwood University. 

I've taught several different age levels, but my passion lies with threes and fours. Here at KECC, I’ve taught in Otters, Lions and have been a part of our amazing flex staff. I am very excited to continue teaching in the Otter room this year. I love working with our youngest learners and enjoy watching them grow and develop during our time together. 

I live in O'Fallon with my husband, Chris and our two amazing children, Ellie and Myles (both KECC alums). Ellie starts middle school this year, and Myles is in the 5th grade. Both our children are very active in sports, so you can always find us at a game cheering them on! We also love to travel, do outdoor activities, and play games as a family.

I look forward to a great year full of amazing experiences with our new Otters!

Ms. Kim, Classroom Educator

I graduated from SLU with a BA in Criminal Justice.  Since 2007, I have been working in early childhood education.

 I have experience working with preschool, pre-K and also taught Kindergarten for a year.

 Before joining KECC in 2023, I worked as a Program Assistant for Adventure Club at Westchester Elementary in the Kirkwood School District.

I am married to the love of my life, Rick. We have two rescue dogs, Pedro and Willa. In our free time we love to travel, watch football and cook.

Ms.  Anuja, Classroom Educator

Hello! I have a degree in Education. I have worked with different age groups up to grade 10. I found my passion in nurturing preschoolers and supporting their early development. I have worked in another preschool for 12 years before joining KECC in 2024.

I live with my husband and two dogs and have two grown children. I enjoy spending time with my dogs, going on hikes with them and birdwatching in our backyard.

Ms. Carla, Flexible Classroom Educator

My name is Carla Ruth, I joined the KECC team in 2024.  Before coming here, I was at Keysor Elementary doing Adventure Club. Working with preschool age children has always been my goal. I've enjoyed seeing them learn new things. Having them be curious about the teachers and our school.

I look forward to this upcoming year. I will be in all of the 3/4 classrooms once a week.
