Meet the Teachers

Ms. Carrie, Classroom Educator

My name is Carrie Smith.

For more than 30 years, I have been working with children and have been with the KECC family since 2008. I really enjoy getting to be part of the village that helps children grow.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and puppy. We like to go for walks in the park and car rides!

I look forward to the new and exciting school year and getting to know all of you. Go Elephants!

Ms. Helen, Classroom Educator

My name is Helen Doran. I have been at KECC since 2002. I have an Associate’s Degree with 30 years in Early Childhood Education. 

In my free time I like to spend time with my husband Tom, my son Cameron, and my daughter Cassie.  I also stay active playing volleyball and walking. 

I look forward to an exciting new adventure with our new Elephant Room Family.

Ms. Sarah, Classroom Educator

Hi, my name is Sarah Blume.  I'm excited to be oart of the KECC team and work in the Elephant Room on Mondays and Tuesdays.  

Currently, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education  and have worked with every age group in our preschool.

In my free time, I enjoy coloring, baking and spending time with family.
