Ms. Carrie, Classroom Educator

My name is Carrie Smith.

For more than 30 years, I have been working with children and have been with the KECC family since 2008. I really enjoy getting to be part of the village that helps children grow.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and puppy. We like to go for walks in the park and car rides!

I look forward to the new and exciting school year and getting to know all of you. Go Elephants!

Ms. Helen, Classroom Educator

My name is Helen Doran. I have been at KECC since 2002. I have an Associate’s Degree with 30 years in Early Childhood Education. 

In my free time, I like to spend time with my husband Tom, my son Cameron, and my daughter Cassie.  I also stay active playing volleyball and walking. 

I look forward to an exciting new adventure with our new Elephant Room Family.

Ms. Tabitha, Flexible Classroom Educator

Hello!  I’m Tabitha Schubert. I recently joined the Elephant team and can’t wait to work with my new class!  Since 2011, I think I have worked in every position in many Kirkwood schools except cook.

Painting & drawing are some of my hobbies and my favorite vacation was a trip to Italy.  I believe no meal is complete without dessert!
